Prayers for the family of Jeff Gee, founder of Herrin House of Hope and Bicycle Resurrection. He was killed this afternoon when struck by a truck at Herrin House of Hope. He was a Cartetville resident and an active Carterville Lions Club member and a very generous person to all in need.
My niece Phylis is having surgery tomorrow to have her second leg removed. She is scared and asking for lots of prayers
We need to keep those impacted by the murder/suicide in Carterville yesterday, including co- workers, family, friends and those responding to the incident, in our prayers.
Remember those who are experiencing their first or even 2nd or 3rd Christmas without a loved one and those who may be alone during the holidays. Drop them a card (even if it won't make it there by Christmas), give them a call or drop by and visit. Little things can bring lots of joy. If you haven't seen someone in church in awhile, take a second to connect and check on them! Prayers that everyone can experience joy this holiday season and that we can all be part of making that happen!
